Orcam Systems AB is a privately held Swedish company, dedicated to distributing and representing wireless products from leading manuafacturers.

The company was created in May 2006 in order to developand manufacture high quality OEM GPS receivers.by acquiring all rights associated with the GPS products known as Orcam from ACAL plc., UK and it's subsidiary ACAL AB.

The GPS25 and GPS26, released during the summer of 2006, are designed to be "drop in" replacements for the GPS20 and GPS21, the first Orcam receivers released in 2004, that were obsoleted 1 July 2006.

One of the main design considerations in the GPS25 and GPS26 is versatility. Wide supply voltage range with on-board power regulation and software stored in Flash provides a "rugged" unit, supporting the use of customised software to suit each customers needs. 

In this family of products, there is also the GPS25R, a cost reduced GPS25S using internal ROM to store the application firmware.The GPS25R uses internal ROM to store it proven SiRF GSW2x navigation software and is primarily intended for applications where good signal conditions can be expected.

The GPS30F, released in 2007 was our first receiver using the much acclaimed SiRFstar3 GPS chip. It is a low power, small footprint (18 x 16 x 3 mm) receiver, designed to operate from a "raw" 3.6V battery supply and supports AGPS, SiRFLoc™ and SiRF InstantFix™ ephemeris extension software, improving the ability to acquire low-level satellite signals, making indoor navigation and positioning a true feature. 

In 2008 we introded the GPS02, a 32 channel GPS receiver capable of up to 5 Hz position update rate and the GPS35 and GPS36, footprint compatible to our GPS25 and GPS26, but using the latest SiRFstar3 low-power GPS chips.

In2017 the mnaufacture of teh Orcam GPS receivers have stopped and we are now acting as a Distributor/Representative for Wireless conncectivity and positioning products.
